The Simon Family Criminal Justice Foundation supports law enforcement in California through several programs:
Scholarships – The Foundation provides full scholarships for deserving students to attend the Ray Simon Criminal Justice Training Center in Modesto. The $2,500 awards cover tuition, uniform and equipment expenses.
Academy Improvements – The Foundation also supports the Ray Simon Criminal Justice Training Center by making physical improvements to the Center’s facilities and by providing specialized training equipment.
Departmental Equipment – The Foundation provides specialized equipment for law enforcement departments throughout California to enhance law enforcement effectiveness, training, public and officer safety.
Partnerships – The Foundation actively encourages public-private partnerships between industry and law enforcement agencies to enhance law enforcement, and public safety for all Californians.
